Take a Tour Through the West Loop’s New JeffJack Apartments

March 11, 2015

JeffJack, downtown’s newest apartment tower, will welcome its first tenants at the beginning of April. Without a doubt, the West Loop is a happenin’ area and the new 15 story building is only adding to the neighborhood’s growing inventory of new apartment units. Designed by Thomas Roszak Architecture, the square-shaped building draws some of its inspiration from the Midwest’s prairie landscape and incorporates hints of green in its glassy exterior as well as the common areas throughout the interior. In total, the project delivers 190 rental units and features amenities such as a fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool, a rooftop lounge space and a 8,500 square foot landscaped outdoor deck.

Located at the corner of Jefferson and Jackson (get it?), the building is just one block away from Union Station and a couple of blocks from the Loop. Though still quite pricey compared to your average Chicago apartment, rents are slightly cheaper than the newest rental units in the Loop with studios starting at just over $1,500. One bedroom units will set one back around $2,100 per month while one of the four penthouses will be closer to $4,000. Floor plans for the different types of units can be viewed on JeffJack’s website.
